Dalton D’Rich was born Dalton David Richardson on December 21st, 1994. East Texas raised, baseball was actually Dalton’s first dream. Music was always there but baseball was life. Dalton was fortunate enough to earn scholarships at Angelina College, Texas A&M Corpus Christi and Tarleton State University. During these years when music became serious Dalton began playing, writing and performing which quickly changed his dream from baseball to music. When Dalton graduated college he soon connected with a producer in Houston and began working on his first album titled “Goin’ Coastal”. From that album, “Get Your Backwoods On” sparked the interest of Silverado Records in Nashville, Tennessee and earned itself a distribution deal. Also the song “Back To My Roots” was picked up by the Texas Country Music Association to be added on their 2019 compilation album. Since the release of his first album, Dalton has released 6 music videos and 8 singles all reaching close to 300 thousand streams across all digital platforms. Dalton has opened for multiple national acts and performed everywhere from Nashville, TN to Key West, FL to all across the great state of Texas. Dalton continues to build his fan base today, performing and releasing new music as often as he can.
